Thème : Displaced Voices, Civic Presence: Gendered Displacement and Literary Citizenship
Présentation : My research explores how contemporary women writers engage with gendered displacement and literary citizenship. It examines how literature portrays migration, exile, and marginalisation as deeply personal, gendered experiences shaped by memory, identity, and fragmentation. Drawing on feminist theory, comparative literature, and literary sociology, the project analyzes how authors use narrative to assert civic presence and participate in public discourse. By doing so, it highlights the civic role of fiction and its power to imagine alternative forms of belonging.
